Therapeutic Counselling Sessions with me are warm, genuine and meaningful to you. Your values, skills, abilities and existing strengths will assist you in responding to the current challenges you are facing. My role is to make these more visible and to guide you to use them to mobilize away from the problems you are facing.

About Jenny
My approach is highly collaborative, respectful and non-blaming. I view problems as separate from people and recognize that people have many values, commitments and competencies. I have developed a creative way to help you mobilize away from the problems that are preventing you from living your best life. And, I am interested in re-envisioning what therapy is ‘supposed’ to look like and borrow the invitation of Rumi, “Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and right doing there is a field. I’ll meet you there”
Jenny brings to therapeutic sessions a Masters Degree in Narrative Therapy and Community Work from the University of Melbourne and a Master Therapeutic Counsellor (MTC #1045) designation from the Association of Cooperative Counselling Therapists of Canada (ACCT). Jenny has been licensed to practice Counselling with ACCT since 2013 and has over ten years of experience supporting folks on their journey to mental wellness.

ESA Work Letter
- Do you want to bring your Emotional Support Animal to work with you? In the form of an electronic letter, I offer a letter to bring to your company HR department stating you have been assessed by a Mental Health Professional and it is recommended you have your animal with you in the work place.

Benefits of Virtual Mental Health Therapy and Text Counselling
Convenience and reduced barriers
Video conference or telephone appointments make it possible to have an appointment wherever and whenever. This kind of flexibility makes it more possible for individuals with busy schedules or time-intensive jobs, to seek out this kind of support. This also includes commute time if you live in a rural area, scheduling conflicts, transportation issues etc. Through online options, distance or limited mobility will not prevent you from accessing the support you need.
